MLK center re-opens in Wilmington

Wilmington's Martin Luther King Junior center is once again open to the public. The center had been shut down for months during renovations. Today it held an open house from nine to four. Many residents stopped by for information on programs the upgraded center will offer. Harry Davis has lived in the area for most of his life and said he likes the improvements. "This center is a real asset to the community," said Davis. "It provides an outlet for the kids in the community, you've got a lot of great outreach programs, a lot of learning activities. It's just a place that can keep kids out of trouble." The 600,000 dollar renovation included new floors, windows, doors, and kitchen upgrades.
