Still, it is a human being and not knowing the mans background would make me think twice before i fatally shot him. It is too common that people in these situations have some mental problem and unless they aim & fire directly at the cops I do not think it is right to kill them. I guess I would make a bad cop, or maybe not. The family called for HELP not to have their loved one killed. I guess like me they think that the cops have some sort of training to talk to someone in this situation and help control it. Is there not some sort of gun that fires darts to sedate the subject? It just seems the easy way is to kill them anymore, like its too much work to bother...Its just sad.
