New Hanover Co. issues boil water notice

New Hanover County says electrical problems after this morning's storms knocked out water pressure for about 45 minutes in the Monterey Heights water system. Residents in the following areas are advised to boil water for about one to two minutes before drinking it for the time being: -Monterey Heights subdivision -Masonboro Commons Shopping Center -Winds Ridge subdivision -Veteran's Park Complex -Ashley High School -Murray Middle School -Anderson Elementary School -Veteran's Park Commons -Heritage Woods subdivision Water quality tests usually take about 24 hours. The county will let residents know through the news media then.
