Two house fires erupt on Carolina Beach Road

READ MORE: RAW VIDEO: Two house fires erupt on Carolina Beach Road
Two house fires broke out within minutes and blocks of each other in New Hanover County this morning. No injuries have been reported in either fire so far. The first fire started around 3:00 this morning, at a home in the 5000 block of Carolina Beach Road. According the Myrtle Grove Fire Department, the house was for sale and vacant when the fire started. Approximately forty five minutes later a smaller fire broke out just down the road. A mobile home porch was on fire in the 5100 block of Carolina Beach Road. That occurred in the Royal Palms Mobile Home Park. Investigators are still looking into the cause of both fires.
