Charges against Sheriff Hewett

The story broke last night: Sheriff Ron Hewitt removed as Brunswick County sheriff. Hewett's office has been under federal investigation since June. However, last night's removal was separate from that action. This was the work of district attorney rex gore and many of Hewett's own deputies.
