I would like to take a second of your time and tell the people who worked the airshow Thanks. It can't be an easy job putting this together. I am very grateful for all who came and showed up for the volunteers. I would love to see this show more often than every three years. Now onto the real reason I am writing this letter and I hope that all can see this. To the ILM workers, the volunteers, and the Wilmington EMS--Yaw are real heroes in my daughters eyes and ours. On opening morning we were only there for a short time right before the show was to start and my daughter had a bad health experience. My husband was doing all he knew to do for our daughter in my absence and yaw really stepped up and helped him out. My daughter was in real need of some help. Yaw made sure she got a Doctor right on the spot and a quick way out to meet the Ems team who took her to Cape Fear hospital. If it wasn't for yaw I am not sure how my daughter would have gotten the help she badly needed. So on behalf of my daughter, my husband, my son and I my hats are off to all of you and may God Bless you all. By, the way on Sunday we were able to watch from Farley Road and the show was great.
