Woman known as "black widow" makes court appearance

READ MORE:
BRUNSWICK COUNTY -- We're learning more tonight about the woman known as the "black widow" who was recently arrested in Charlotte. According to published reports 62-year-old Sandra Bridewell made her first appearance in Brunswick County court this week. She's in jail on a $1.5 million bond. Bridewell is suspected of killing two of her husbands and her best friend in Texas back in the 1980s. But she was never charged with those crimes. She later moved to Brunswick County, and in 2006 she worked as a caretaker for a woman in St. James. She's now facing charges for writing unauthorized checks off the woman's bank account.
