As a former submariner (USS Sennet SS408---1952) I was proud to be an observer to the commissioning of SSN 777. It is with great pride and admiration that I commend the officers and crew for their being a vital part of our underwater navy. Only if you've 'been there', can you appreciate what they go through. As a former 'diesel boat sailor', I can attest to the fact that these men are far more advanced in technology and knowledge than we were. My hat is off to them and I am proud to salute them for the job they are doing. May God go with you as you sail. Forever indebted... Linwood Sutton
