If you take a White and Black worker with equal experience, equal education, and equal skill sets, the pay disparity vanishes. We have more Black lawyers, doctors, and businessmen than ever before. We have a Black Secretary of State; the one before her was Black, too. We have a Black justice on the Supreme Court. We have Black governors. We have a Black Senator running for President. Anyone who WANTS to succeed in this country, can. The three young men in this story understand that. If, however, you decide to drop out of high school, go to prison by the age of twenty, and dedicate your life to getting high, you have no one to blame but yourself when you discover that life pretty much stinks. That applies regardless of the color of your skin.
