Disparity exists with pay, access to jobs, raises, promotions, unemployment, etc. It is okay for you to believe what you believe, this is America. It is not okay for you to take your believes and impose them on others, because this IS America. Your beliefs do not fit the actuality of statistics of blacks, hispanics, native americans, women, gays, basically non-white males. America allows for the pursuit of happiness, not happiness. Your reality is work hard and you will get what you want. That is not the reality for the majority of Americans. It isn't even the reality for the average white person. However, if it makes you feel good to deliver these absolutes and not face reality and make a difference, I pray for you.
