After posting their first win in a wild 5-3 shootout against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds last Saturday that included a four-goal performance and two penalties on the night, the Hammerheads will be back on the pitch at Legion Stadium Friday as they host Western Mass in a USL-2 showdown.
Alex Harrison scored four of the five goals and was named USL-2 player-of-the-week for his efforts. Harrison, who was a prolific scorer in his native England, had been shut out on the season, but broke through in a big way. He had previously captained England's U-18 national team, scoring four goals in six games. While playing for the youth squad of English Premier League club Portsmouth, he scored 54 goals in 48 games.
