.....pouring dry cleaning fluid, or any other known carcinogen, into the water table. The contamination at CLNC took place many years ago, over a period of many years, at a time when the environment was not a hot button item and simply pouring the dirty dry cleaning fluid onto the ground was considered "perfectly normal."
Now is not then. This is 2008 and Titan will have to comply with both state and federal laws that will require they be good stewards of the environment. They will be required to obey laws that simply did not exist at the time of the CLNC contamination.
So the two cases are totally unrelated, and not in any way similar.
I doubt that Titan Cement is going to be....
