My hearts and prayers go out to the victim's family and his friends. What hit me hard about this story, similar to the story of the fine gentleman who lost his life in Rich's inlet just weeks ago is that again.. SOmeone nedlessy dies because they were not wearing a flotation device. Being an advid boater, I am just as guilty. I have many excuses not to wear a life preserver.. They are big. They are bulky. I am only going to be fishing in the inlet. It is not cool. This story really makes me step back and think. Both stories do... I can not bear to think of the pain and sadness these famailes have to experience. I just cannot fathom the loss. The old saying is "it don't work if you don't wear it"... I think I will start thinking differently about my habits.. Again my sincere heartfelt condolences go out to this family for their loss....
