You have no idea whether this dog was ignored. He may have been the most loved and cared for dog in the world. Either way, this dog was stolen(kidnapped) from its family by someone who felt they had a right to impose their opinions on someone else. It's not up you to tell how people how to take care of their animals, as long as the people aren't breaking any laws. Even if they were breaking the law, animal control should be called. As many dogs as are dying in shelters and need a home, wouldn't the thief's attentions be better served finding homes for all those dogs waiting to be euthanized? This dog had a home and a (presumably) loving family.
