About a dozen kids from the Childcare Network in Wilmington visited the NewsChannel Three studios Wednesday morning for a lesson from meteorologist Sonya Stevens. Kids ages 8 to 11 learned about different kinds of weather, and the difference between a watch and a warning. One of the highlights of the lesson was checking out Sonya's special 'tornado in a bottle.' As with many groups that come through here, the best part of the day was playing in front of the green screen. From the looks of it, these kids might be ready to take over for Sonya, Chris and Jerry sometime soon!
