I have to agree with the foster mother. As I and my husband are foster parents. We work with the bio family and even get to know some of them. It doesn't mean that i think they should be returned to bio family. As a foster mom i can honestly say that i hope for the best to turn out so that they are reunified. But then again you also want to make sure it's in the best interest of the child.
The myspace thing can give insight to as what type of person she is also. I think that is what made it such a big deal. we don't know what is on there and they didn't tell. so no one should jump to conclusions as this case being based on a myspace page.
And as for DFCS...i love the people i work with there. They have never once given me a reason to doubt the system. They communicate and work with bio families and us and i commend them on the job they do here. Also depending on how long the child has been with them factors in, then you have the fact that - can the 20 yr. old sister provide housing, income, food, shelter, and such for the little girl. not to mention medical care as it states she is a special needs child. I hope they choose the family that can best provide and care for her...not just blood and genetics.
