Portion of Nutt Street closing for 90 days

Starting Thursday a portion of Nutt Street in downtown Wilmington will be closing to accommodate construction of the convention center. Nutt Street will be closed for about a quarter of a mile from Hanover Street to Estelle Lee Place. It is scheduled to be closed for 90 days but the city expects it to take longer, depending on the construction schedule. Business nearby, like the Wilmington Railroad Museum, have been notified. The intersection of Hanover and Nutt Street will remain open during construction.
