I think over all this is a good idea but what about the people who are sex offenders because they boyfriend/girlfriends parents pressed statutory rape charges when one was 16 and one was 18. My parents did this to my boyfriend. I chose to have sex with my 18 year old boyfriend when I was 16. My parents found out and pressed charges and now he is a convicted sex offender and will be for the rest of his life. I am know 33 years old and to this day I regret what happened. I think there needs to be some way to separate pedophiles and such from others. I read about some kids whose senior prank was to streak at a football game and they are now sex offenders. I know my ex boyfriend has kids of his own now so if they pass this law he would not be allowed to take his children to the park.
