Hot jobs, and cool jobs

The heat is especially tough for people working outside, or in other hot places. Cooks at Hell's Kitchen say on days like this, with the heat from the deep fryer, and the oven, it can be unbearable behind the cooking line. For workers at Cruisers Car Wash, the combination of the sun reflecting off the asphalt and the cars makes for a hot and sweaty work day. But for ice sculptor Mark Kalowski, his studio is the coolest place to be on a hot August day. "This is my studio, not just a freezer, so this is my place to get away and do the work that I specialize in, which is working with ice," said Kalowski. The best way to beat the heat on days like this is to avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, and to stay hydrated.
