Jellyfish are great opportunists." That statement makes...NO SENSE. While over fishing is SOMEWHAT of an issue for turtles...it isn't the BIG cause. NOT many species of fish EAT jellyfish. TURTLES are not being looked upon by nature very well either. IF ANYONE is causing a decrease in the population of turtles...ask the residents of Wrightsville Beach or ANY island occupants...commercial fisherman as well...but don't lump FISHING into one thing here. There is an increase in Jellyfish in the area MAYBE from a population boom OR no more numbers, but they have been pushed in by the current and recent storm activity.....
