WILMINGTON -- A mother and daughter were seriously hurt earlier today, after being struck by a car. The accident happened off 16th and Greenfield Streets in Wilmington. A car driven by a 21-year-old woman hit the mother and daughter as they were crossing the street. Wilmington EMS immediately transported the two victims to the hospital. No word yet on their condition. Police are still investigating whether the driver had a red or a green light.
