Last week, WWAY showed you the mess at Ashley High School. Vandals broke nearly 90 windows. Students started class Tuesday, and were shocked to see some of the windows still shattered. Others are boarded up leaving students with a few less windows to look out of. Ashley senior Erin McDaniel said, "It's disappointing because we have one of the nicest campuses in the county, and one of the nicest high schools, and I don't know why someone would want to destroy that and not take pride in it." School officials are replacing the windows as quickly as they can. The damage totals almost $30,000. The New Hanover County Sheriff's Department is still investigating leads.
