WILMINGTON -- Police need your help to solve a stabbing earlier this month in downtown Wilmington.
It happened near Slice of Life in downtown Wilmington.
The victim is OK, but the suspects are on the loose and police want them behind bars.
Police say security cameras in a Wilmington downtown parking deck caught the suspects on camera before the stabbing happened.
WPD Det. W.B. Ostrosky said, "Three gentleman were passing under the parking deck when they got into a verbal altercation with some men who they thought poured beer on them from the third floor."
Detectives say the victim and his friends ignored the men who poured beer on them and went to get some pizza at "slice of life" off market and front streets.
"A few minutes later, the suspects pulled up in a silver pickup truck and the suspects got out and started another altercation."
Sunday morning around two a.m. at "Slice of Life" is packed after a night out. Police hope someone in the pizza line or inside the restaurant saw what happened next.
"The men got out and stabbed one of the victims. He had to stay in the hospital for about a week, week and a half recovering."
The victim says the attackers might from the military.
We're going to show you the surveillance video one more time.
