HICKORY, N.C. -- A heating and air conditioning supplier plans to expand its operation in North Carolina and add about 73 jobs over the next three years.
State officials said Friday that Turbotec Products Inc. plans to move the bulk of its manufacturing operations to Hickory from Connecticut.
Turbotec makes heat exchangers and heat transfer tubing that are used in heating, air conditioning and refrigeration products.
The News & Record of Greensboro reported that the company currently employs 16 people in Hickory and plans to invest $6.5 million in a larger facility there.
