Some good news for consumers: the state sales tax drops a penny today. The question is whether you are being charged the right amount of tax. So as you shop, check your receipt and do the math. If you find a store charging the old rate e-mail a picture of your receipt to, and we'll check it out.

Wilmington man shares $250,000 Mega Millions prize with family

Donald Holliday, an electrician from Wilmington, plans to share the $250,000 prize he won playing Mega Millions drawing with his family. Holiday matched all five white balls but not the Mega Ball in the June 14 drawing.
