Daily Weather Report

WEATHER SUMMARY: Our weather pattern will shift to one more typical of summer in southeastern NC a we head into the holiday weekend. A weak front will basically wash out just to our north, so a few areas north of Wilmington could pick up an evening shower or storm. Over the weekend, the sea breeze will become more active. That means an afternoon shower or storm could pop up, otherwise it should be a great weekend to hit the beaches or grill out. The chance for pop up storms, mainly in the afternoon, increases next week

Weekend: Partly cloudy very warm and humid with a chance for a pop up afternoon shower or storm, mainly along the coastal areas. Highs in the upper 80s. Lows in the low 70s.

Labor Day: Partly sunny with the chance for "pop-up" storms, mainly in the afternoon. Highs around 90 with lows in the 70s.

Have a fun and safe Labor Day weekend!
