Daily Weather ReportA pesky front has stalled out just off the Cape Fear coast, and won't allow us to completely clear things out. This means clouds, and even an isolated shower will be possible for the coastal counties today; more sunshine for the inland counties. This front will back-up, coming onshore again tomorrow and bring humidity back, and increase the chance for showers & storms. This will be the case for Saturday as well. More typical summertime weather will take hold by Sunday. Here's your StormTrack 3 Forecast: Today: More clouds than sun along the coast, with even an isolated shower. Sunshine for the inland counties. Highs near 80 along the coast, but mid 80's inland. Tonight: Scattered clouds with a possible coastal shower. Lows in the upper 60's. Friday: Scattered showers and even a thunderstorm. More humid, with highs in the mid 80's. Tropics: Tropical Storm Barry is headed toward the Mexican coast today. No impacts to the US. - Meteorologist Tim Buckley |
