BRUNSWICK COUNTY -- Brunswick County kids are getting work on their smile, even if they can't afford it. The Health Department has set up a mobile dental unit outside Supply Elementary. The Board of Health approved funding for the clinic to help uninsured children. Some of the services offered at the clinic include cleanings, X-rays, corrective work and acute care. DDS dentist Zachary Hunter said, "Here in Brunswick, especially, there's just no dentist around here. It's hard to get access to care and if we can go into the schools and save parents from having to drive with gas prices and stuff, it's just helps out and I like doing it." The dental unit is expected to be in place through July 7.
