Deputies make quick arrest in Big Lots robbery

An armed robbery at the Big Lots on Market Street in Wilmington was solved fairly quickly Wednesday. New Hanover County deputies arrested David Horrell after spotting a vehicle matching a store clerk’s description of the one used in the robbery. Inside, deputies found a gun, along with a hat and bandanna they say were used in the hold up. Horrell is in the New Hanover County jail, also charged with breaking into a neighbor's house and stealing the gun that was used in the robbery.

I don't agree what people being able to committe on things like this. Sometimes that makes it even harder for his family to get passed this!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just like with Corey Vann people will rush to his defense. We all have hard times to deal with but the vast majority of us would never think of grabbing a gun and robbing a business. I'm sorry if he has a wife or girlfriend and children but any pain they are caused can be squarely place on his back. He is on active probation now and is a convicted felon for robbery you can see his record at the NC DOC website inmate number 0586961. If I had to say I would think about 40 years with no parole would do for a sentence. But that's just me.

Here's another thug and a waste to our society...he's been arrested over 15 times. Wish there was some way we could do away with these peopel. This man had the nerve to break into his neighbors house and steal their gun before using that same gun to rob the store. Talk about a loser

He's just another waste of space. hard times or not, you DONT rob noone. he should get a job doing something. It's not that hard if you really want to work & support his kids cause God knows, he has kids. Poor children.
