It would be nice if WWAY could give more details and facts before putting up a poll like this. If this ship could come right in and dock up to the riverwalk tomorrow, and be ready for business, then I say, yes it's a good idea...but if it's going to cost the city a bunch of my tax dollars to make the river deep enough and/or the shoreline strong enough to dock a ship on, then I say "no"...there are more pressing matters that I would like to see my tax dollars go towards...

Has anyone asked how much or who would dredge the river so this ugly ship could get up the river? Or have we all forgotten that ships that big can't get that far up the river? Isn't that why the battleship couldn't go up to Norfolk to be refurbished? Because it's sitting in mud? I have a feeling it would take more than a month or two.
