Your questions are often phrased to solicit a desired response. In this case, I have to answer NO only because school officials are not licensed officers of the court. (If an on-campus officer were to have just cause to suspect the offense, of course the actions should be considered just-worthy and legal.) If no such officer is available, HANDS OFF until an officer can arrive and make the judgement. I grow weary of everyone thinking they can hide behind the constitution. In this instance, the constitution does not give someone the right to break the law.

Those who think this is acceptable will be the first to object when it happens to one of their children in school. Is there no respect for privacy anymore? What if they suspect the drugs are being hidden somewhere else on the body-do we allow a complete strip search?
"Rights" will only take you so far
