An officer made a comment on the newscast this morning that the sight of a police car slowed people down and that's what they wanted to do. Well, if the sight of a police car slows people down and that's what you want, why are your HIDING? If someone could just speak the truth!!

They should spend more time trying to catch real criminals.
Just have your house broken into one time, and see if they ever catch them,and recover your property, it wont happen.
Get the robbers and drug dealers off the streets first.

Hey that is a good thing to keep fast people off the street. Ya'll should do that in Brunswick County down my way in City Of Northwest, NC and be undercover and stop these cars that fly up and own the road (Blue Banks Loop Rd) Dirt Part we have kids that play in the yard and road and they have to move out the way in a hurry before they get hit

Absolutely! The speed limit downtown is 35. Anybody driving that slow would be rear-ended.
It is an experience in terror, trying to cross Third street at about 8AM. I am down there every morning and see little evidience of police. I realise that they are covered up with gang shootings, muggings and the homeless that Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce sends up to us. We should send them back.

Wow! Whats next, can we expect to see them pop out of manhole covers. I guess the good thing is at least they are not driving the tractor wasting gas.

Speeders are a problem!
Speeders are a HUGE problem in Wilmington. People have no rules. They have a total disregard for others. Catch em and make em pay.
