Do you think the media have treated Republican Vice Presidential nomiee Sarah Palin fairly?

What has bush done for this country? How many people has he killed in war? How about this economy. Are you so wealthy you don't know what to do? How about the grocery store, are you struggling to put food on the table with the prices? How about gas, how do like the prices? How about making money period, how many small businesses have closed this year? How about construction, what happened to that? Oh, vote for your mccain/palin. NOTHING WILL CHANGE! EXCEPT IN ALASKA!

When speaking of the question of qualifications for the position of Vise President, I do feel Palin is better qualified then Biden. Although Palin has been in politices for a shorter amount of time compared to Biden, look at what she has accomplished and compare her 80% approval rating to Biden's 8% to 14% as a member of congress.

I AM VERY INTERESTED IN ALL THE DIFFERENT VIEWS THAT HAVE COME TO LIGHT. BUT THE FACT IS THAT WOMEN ARE STILL LOOKED UPON AS SUBMISSIVE HOUSEWIVES ONLY PUT UPON THE EARTH TO HAVE CHILDREN,KEEP HOUSE AND KEEP YOUR HUSBAND HAPPY. I AM APPALED BY THE THOUGHT THAT WOMEN WHO HAVE A FAMILY CAN NOT BE THE NEXT VP. IT IS A DOUBLE STANDARD AND PAINS ME TO THINK A WOMEN COULD NOT DO A GOOD OR EVEN BETTER JOB. I MEAN WHO DO YOU THINK KICKED PAUL REVERE OUT OF BED, COOKED HIM A HOT BREAKFAST AND MADE HIM RUN AND WARN OF THE BRITISH. YES HIS WIFE. I AM PROUD TO BE A STRONG AMERICAN WOMEN AND WILL BE CASTING MY VOTE FOR SARAH AND JOHN

It seems the Democrats are beaten by their own kind of political strategy. Now Republicans have a charismatic, young and in touch, candidate on their ticket, who by the way is also a fine representative in any office she has served. This must rankle the Democrats, who tout this kind of candidate as the exclusive property of their party.
But now the best part. All the criticisms of Ms. Palin by the Demos, are just the type of "incorrect" views usually hung on the Republicans. What a complete and unassailable turn-around!!

Move over world! This is just what we need, a female vice-president. I listened to her the other night and I can tell you that she has more class in her little finger than the majority of politicians all put together! So she is a woman and has a family. Big deal. Anyone that has a wife, mother, or grandmother knows that she has more responsibilities and can juggle those responsibilities better than any man in this country! And come on media - you want to know how she will do, go ask Barack Obama how he will handle his responsibilites as a dad! Ask his wife how she will handle the children as the President's wife! Now get off your double standard soapbox and start doing something worthwhile, like reporting the news, without your private opinions and prejudices.

If you watch the tabloid tv shows, like Extra, The Insider, ET, etc. for the last few days, you would have thought her daughter is the only 17 year old unwed pregnant teen in the history of the world. Five minutes after their "breaking news", and "shocking revelations", they were on there oohhing and aahhing over some movie star whose girlfriend had just had a baby and yet he did not intend to marry her. ET also showed a picture of Palin several times in a stars and stripes bikini holding some sort of rifle, and then very quietly and quickly mentioned it wasn't real but Photoshop. The "great journalist" Perez Hilton had apparently posted it all over the internet. ET was just further compounding the situation. Some of the mainstream media outlets are just as bad. They need to stick to reporting facts and where the candidates stand on the issues instead of turning the campaign into trash tv.

yeah i do not think that how is she going to be a good mother to them really is any of their business...its Sarah and Tom's business, not the world. they dont ask how is obama going to be a good father to his kids, in fact have they ever done this to anyone? they just dont like the fact that because Palin is now on the ticket that the republican party has a good chance to beat their oh so perfect obama....yuck

The question of whether or not Sara Palin could be an effective mother and carry out the responsibilities of the job is a violation of federal employment questions. As this election is effectively a employment opportunity, why is the media above the law in asking this type of question?
