Early detection and prevention was the theme at Thursday night's Live & Learn seminar at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Women were invited to attend the event, hosted by the Betty H. Cameron Women's and Children's Hospital. Doctors spoke to the crowd about everything from early detection of cancer, robotic surgery, fibroids, and other GYN conditions. Experts also took questions from the crowd. Doctors said knowing the facts can help patients stay healthy. "Prevention. Prevention is key and with education people can make better decisions about their healthcare,” said Sandra Hall, MD/OB-GYN.
