An Ogden doctor will not face charges in Gaston County, because of insufficient evidence. Dr. Robert Perry faced four counts of obtaining property by false pretense, and one count of prescribing a controlled substance without a legal medical purpose. Perry surrendered his medical license in the midst of legal troubles. The doctor closed the Pee-Dee Clinic he ran in Ogden, citing ongoing health problems. Perry could not be reached for comment.
