Egg hunt a treat for kids at Battleship North Carolina

With the Easter holiday right around the corner, many little ones headed to the Battleship North Carolina for an Easter egg hunt.

Little hunters made a mad dash for the annual Battleship Easter Egg Hunt. It drew in dozens of families to get in on all the Easter festivities. Kids had the chance to collect a total of more than a hundred eggs on the battleship grounds.

"I got a lot of eggs. I found an egg that was half open and there was a piece of candy in there," said Nick Halstead.

"I got to spend time with my friends and family,” said Kimberly Batchelor. “We had a good time and I got a lot of eggs."

Everyone walked away with eggs and of course candy.
