Despite the economic downturn, the Bolz Family is building a new animal hospital. They say now is as good a time as any to start their own veterinary practice. Theirs is one of several new businesses popping up along Carolina Beach Road in Monkey Junction. They said with the growing population in that area, people are bound to need vets. "I think a majority of people treat their pets as people, and just like you wouldn't not take your child to the dentist, if your animal needed veterinary care, you would see veterinary care. Pets are part of the family now, and they need attention,” said Debbie Bolz. Although residential construction may be down, the commercial building market is fairly steady.

Myrtle Grove Animal Hospital

I've been driving by the new veterinary hospital at Myrtle Grove and trying to find out how to apply for a job there. I have 15 years experience as a Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant and would like to send a resume and/or talk with someone. I will be moving to Leland as soon as I can get a job there. Thank you for any assistance. Sue
