FAISON, N.C. -- Sorry, President Obama: Vice President Joe Biden can't root for the University of North Carolina at the Final Four this weekend because love is thicker than a tournament bracket.
During a visit Wednesday to Wayne County, Biden told the crowd that he likes the Tar Heels - except when they're playing Villanova. That's because Biden's wife, Jill, graduated from the
Pennsylvania school.
The two teams play in the second of the two national semifinal games in the NCAA men's basketball tournament Saturday in Detroit.
Biden said if he went against Villanova, "I'd be sleeping alone."
Obama picked the Tar Heels as his winner in a bracket he filled out and revealed on national television prior to the start of the tournament.
