Are you one of those people who still has pictures on your camera from your family vacation back in July, or from your best friend's wedding two years ago? There may be a solution. The Eye-Fi card is the first memory card that wirelessly and automatically uploads all your pictures onto your computer. The Eye-Fi SD card actually has built-in wireless technology, which allows it to communicate with your existing wireless network. All you need is your digital camera and your Eye-Fi card. The standard edition normally retails for $100 dollars, and is $10 a year to upload. The upgraded version costs more at the store, but uploading is free. Best Buy has the Eye-Fi on sale this week, for around $60. The Eye-Fi card is compatible with any camera with an SD card slot, which is about 70 percent of all digital cameras. The latest edition, the Eye-Fi Explorer, has what's called geo-tagging. If you're vacationing at the Grand Canyon, or in New York City, your pictures will remember exactly where you were; you can search for “Grand Canyon pictures,” and it will find any pictures it took at that location.

Can Opener Support Fee

You're gonna' ask me for $10/year to move files from MY camera to MY computer over MY network in MY house? How ridiculous, these companies that try to leverage long-term fees out of simple household gadgets. They just take advantage of the average person's ignorance. Would you pay a yearly fee to operate your own can opener?
