Family, officials search NC for missing musician

GREENSBORO -- Officials and family members have searched a North Carolina park for a 64-year-old musician who left for a Sunday walk and didn't return home. The searchers looked Monday in the snow-covered woods of Guilford Courthouse Military Park in Greensboro for Russell James Peck. The search was halted about 4:30 p.m. Peck is known for his orchestral compositions as well as his habit of running on trails in the park. Greensboro Police Capt. Janice Rogers says the searchers did all they could without knowing for certain if Peck went to the park. She says crews may search again later in the week after snow melts.
