FCC helps locals order DTV coupons

As we get closer to the big digital switch, members of the Federal Communications Commission are taking steps to inform the elderly and disabled. FCC reps paid a visit to the New Hanover County Senior Center to help people apply for digital converter box coupons. Attendees also got a lesson in how to hook up the converter box. This extra help was well received. All of Wilmington's local stations will begin broadcasting in digital-only come September 8.
