In Brunswick County, another Thanksgiving dinner was being served. Manna Ministries prepared meals for about 400 people at the Leland Town Hall park shelter. An assembly line of volunteers helped put together plates with all the traditional Thanksgiving fixings. Those who received the meals were thankful for all the volunteers.

"Well I was amazed. I didn't know how this process was. I don't know, it's just amazing that they give up their time to be here for us," said Dorothy Healey.

Some families showed up to enjoy a meal together on Thanksgiving, while other families decided to volunteer together. Some people who received a meal said they were so overwhelmed by all of the help, that they want to sign up to volunteer next year.
