Two men wanted for not paying child support are the focus of this week's Fugitive Files. The Pender County Sheriff's Office needs your help finding 42-year-old Ivey Wilson, Jr. of Burgaw. Wilson is wanted for more than $5,000 in child support. Franklin Anderson of West Atkinson owes more than $59,000 in child support. If you have any idea where these men are, call the Pender County Sheriff's Office at 259-1212.

Child Support Fugitive

One of the guys shown as a fugitive has been behind bars for almost 3 weeks and has not been told anything about a court date or given the opportunity to see a lawyer or talk to a case worker. Why keep him locked up when he could be working and earning the money needed to pay the child support? What does a brother have to do to get some help?

I totally agree what is the point of arresting these men and putting them behind bars for child support? When these men go to jail for CS how does the courts except them to pay their money if they are in jail and have NO JOB. If your goin to arrest them GIVE THEM A JOB so they can pay their money this is stupied. I have a friend in brunswick county and he was arrested for owing $194 rears why waste time picking up a guy that only owes $194 has a job and keeps his child 70% of the time hes a good father. He keeps his child most of the time and he still pays his child support he works everyday. There needs to be BIG Changes in this system. Most of the jails are full with Child Support owers which makes the jails to full to catch the real criminals murders,rapes,molesters etc. Maybe one day the courts/goverment will OPEN THEIR EYES and see this system is not working and make a change.

Child Support

They always show the men. My husbands ex owes him almost $3,000.00 in back support and they get even get her papers served for her to show just cause why she hasn't paid. This state is very discriminatory towards men.
