There's another suspected case of the H1N1 virus in a New Hanover County school. School officials said Thursday that a student at Holly Tree Elementary School is suspected to have contracted the virus. The student has not attended school all week. Holly Tree parents have been notified by phone and by a letter sent home with students. So far, five cases of the virus have been confirmed in three New Hanover County schools.

Every year some kind of bug goes around. Why is this one such a big deal?
Big deal? Lets see...cause it can KILL you.
How is it that elementary students are the only ones getting this virus? That being said, where could they be coming in contact with it, since different schools have been involved?
When does it become the prudent decision to cancel the last 3 days of school? There are a bunch of kids @ a local elementary school (without a reported suspected case) being sent home today because of fever.
