One popular July Fourth destination around here is Bald Head Island.

Who would miss the annual golf cart parade?

Cars aren't allowed on the island, so residents showcase their golf carts.

Bob Confoy is a parade enthusiast. He has participated in the last four and has an award for each one. He plans to take home the gold again this year.

"Ours is not the most creative but it's the craziest. So that's what we're about," said Confoy.

This is Bald Head Island's busiest weekend of the year.

This year, they are expecting a crowd of about 5,000 people.
