French business school picks NC for US campus

RALEIGH, N.C. -- One of France's largest business schools is opening an outpost at North Carolina's largest university.

The News & Observer of Raleigh reported Wednesday that the Skema business school picked North Carolina State University over sites in Florida and California to be near companies in Research Triangle Park. Skema has more than 5,000 students.

The French school with campuses in the French cities of Paris and Lille (leel) as well as in China and Morocco plans to send 300 students to Raleigh to experience American business beginning in January.

The French school's location on N.C. State's Centennial Campus puts it alongside headquarters and offices of companies including Red Hat and electrical equipment maker ABB.
