Future looks bright for GE Hitachi

They're already leading the world in nuclear technology. And they have even bigger plans for the future. GE Senior Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing David Durham says the economy has set them back a bit but he's expecting fuel and service sales from the Wilmington plant to continue to help the company grow. "We're involved in competitions in several European countries right now," says Durham. "I think are chances are good of winning one or two of those jobs. I think we are actively involved in serious discussions in India for a number of units there. So there are a number of things coming, it'll just be another year or so before they probably come to fruition." Durham says new plant sales will allow the company to grow substantially.
