SALISBURY, N.C. -- Republican candidate for governor Pat McCrory was involved in a minor car accident on his way to a campaign stop.
The Charlotte mayor's campaign said Wednesday that McCrory was traveling down a Salisbury street on his way to a campaign event when another vehicle hit the car he was in.
Neither McCrory or the campaign aide driving the car were injured. McCrory later traveled in the same vehicle to his scheduled event in Winston-Salem.
Neither driver has been charged.

Honest and Capable
Mayor McCrory has been elected to a record seven terms in North Carolina's largest city.
He's done a good job there...with no scandel or charges of corruption. Unlike Perdue, he is not a part of the insider system of Raleigh government, that answers not to the citizens, but only to the top dogs of the state's Democrat party. Too much is settled behind closed doors in Raleigh, all by one party. And a party I do not feel represents the average North Carolinian, or the best future of the state.
McCrory will continue the honest job he does in Charloltte, and he will better represent the average citizen.
Wreck
How symbolic of the "wreck" that north carolina will face with someone like him being allowed out of Charlotte into a position of leadership...Lord Help us if this neo-con gets elected to anything beyond the ribbon cutting lame duck he has been in Charlotte.

Amen to that!
