While cases of H1N1 have decreased, health officials are still encouraging the public to get vaccinated to protect their health. Seven people in North Carolina have died as a result of H1N1 in the last four weeks.
The state received more than three million vaccines, but has only given out about half of them. The NC Division of Public Health encourages people to take advantage of the available vaccines. Contact your county health department or doctor about getting the vaccine.
