The Chairwoman of the Wilmington Housing Authority has announced her resignation. Lethia Hankins, a former Wilmington City Council member and retired teacher, said she just has too many other commitments on her plate right now. Among other things, she is on the board of trustees for Cape Fear Community College. It will be up to Wilmington Mayor Bill Saffo to appoint her replacement on the housing authority board.

I wish she had resigned before she voted the Director who blew a .23 a huge raise.
The CEO of WHA needs to resign also...and whoever else on the board that voted to give him a raise.
