Want to buy Hard Rock Park? Well, you will need at least $3.5 million. Documents filed in bankruptcy court show bidders must show they can meet the minimum $35 million price with ten percent as cash, and prove they can run the business. The $400 million, 55 acre park opened in April. It filed for bankruptcy protection in September. The park is accepting bids until December 12, 2008. It will go up for auction December 15, 2008. Park officials have said it will not open in 2009 without a buyer.

Unless they drop the ticket price for admission to around $30 a ticket or less....it doesn't matter who owns the park, it won't do very well
a $400 million theme park for less than ten cents on the dollar. Will be interesting to see where the final number ends.
